[Liz has been keeping herself busy doing her ghostly thing around the grounds. It's a funny thing, but she really hasn't visited every place open to the residents and that's not something she can really understand.
So, today, she's been out visiting the stables with it's cranky moose, although she'd given him a wide and respectful berth. No sense going solid and getting herself trampled, right? Right.
After the stables, she meandered over to the mews and stood watching the hawks for a while. She'd always wanted to try falconry when she was alive, but it was something she'd thought she'd have plenty of time for. HAHAH. Nope. :|
After the mews came something unexpected... something amazing and something known to draw squeals of adoration from even the strongest of souls. Something that even the blackest of black hearts melted in the face of.]
OH MY GOD!! No one told me there are, like, puppies here!!!
[She is currently sitting amidst the puppies as they clamor over her momentarily solid form. Puppy kisses and yips and paws and just asdl;ghas;gha;ga. Liz is in heaven (no pun intended).
The giggles and general cooing go on for several minutes before...]
Oh, bleh... whoever is watching them, like, totally needs to loosen their collars! Aren't you lucky that, like, I've totally had dogs before and can do this, like, one handed? C'mere, fluff ball!
[Are you ready for some shenanigans, Keep? Are you? 'Cause shit's about to get real up in here! (even if I have no idea HOW, lmfao)]

She bites her lips, fighting back the burn of tears, but her legs are starting to sting more and more and she's not feeling so hot and DAMMIT these things weren't supposed to bother her anymore!!
Her voice is small when she replies.]
Thanks, Ezra...
[But theeeeeeen she falls silent again, pretty much rooting right to the spot she'd been walking from.]
Wha-... Why? What's wrong? Like, why do I need to go see Sycora? She's the doctor here, right? Why do I need to, like, see her? They're just scratches... right?
[A pause then... they were awfully sensitive and it wasn't like Furball was a living, breathing puppy.]
Umm... I'm near the stables... just between there and the kennels...

[He wasn't too sure how the doctor was going to ghost-wounds, but Ezra figured he'd worry about that part later. First, they had to get Liz to safety.]
I'm gonna come get you. If I'm not there in ten minutes, the dog got me and you gotta go by yourself to the doctor, okay?
[Not trying to freak you out here, Liz, but they had to address all possibilities.]

I don't know... I, like, shouldn't be able to be solid, either, but this place messes me up.
[So don't worry about not worrying, Ezra, as Liz is doing more than enough for the both of you. She bites her lip and nods as Ezra tells her to stay where she's at and then her eyes widen.]
OHMIGOD, no! You're, like, totally going to be okay, okay?? Just, like, be careful and I'll be right here waiting.
[OH GOD, EZRA PLEASE DON'T DIE!!!! D:
And she'll be waiting there, literally counting and fretting like hell.]

[What with all the buildings and the lack of water to escape to.
Luckily for Ezra, he gets as far as the stables without coming across the demon dog. He's tense and jumpy and more than a little on edge, but he wasn't lying, this is his element. He pokes his head around the corner, daring to call out in only the softest of voices.]
Liz? Liz are you here?

She waits, pacing the area in front of the stables with quick steps. She she hears someone coming, she falls still, heart in her throat. If it was Furball, there was the likelihood that things wouldn't go well at all.
She exhales shakily as, instead, it's Ezra's familiar voice that greets her. She waves, still solid and very visible, trying to catch his attention discreetly.]
Ezra! Over here...
[She's thrilled to see him, but this is a bit muted at the growing throb of pain in her legs.]
Commentlog // ugh sorry for being the worst rp partner ever
And there was Liz. Even as he closes in he can see that this isn't good. ...even just the fact that he COULD see the wound was a problem.
He kneels down beside her, still completely on alert, and mutters to himself.]
It really did get you... How did it get you?
[And then his attention snaps to Liz, looking her in the eye.]
Do you think you can walk?
Commentlog // OH, PLEASE! Darling, you're wonderful! /hugs
She smiles weakly, aiming for levity.]
You know how I said, like, that this place messes with my ghostiness? Well, like, I went solid at just the wrong time, I guess...
[Her smile, weak as it is, falters altogether under that sharp gazed scrutiny. She nods almost imperceptibly.]
Yeah, I'm pretty sure I can.
[No flowery dialect. No stuttering. There might even be an audible amount of fear coloring her tone now.]
Commentlog // pfffffffffft
[Sure, it keeps the strong people at bay, but it hurt the weaker ones too.
He nods back, wasting no time in throwing Liz's arm over his shoulder and pulling her to her feet. They had to do this quick, before Liz's ghostiness decided to pop up again, and before her leg got any worse.]
We can rest once we're in the castle, but first we have to make it that far. Okay?
[He looks at her for an answer, his expression grim. No reassuring smiles here, sorry Liz.]
Commentlog // It is truth I speak, so you accept it, missy!
I don't know... like, it seems to completely counterpoint how you'd think things would be, you know? I mean, sure, some people can still, like, do a whole lot, but some of us can't...
[Liz could hardly levitate much of anything anymore and going from ghost to solid without notice brought on its own world of issues.
When Ezra moves in to help her get to her feet, Liz does her best to keep him from having to heft her around too much. She hates being a pain and she doesn't want to make things even harder for him.
She grits her teeth and nods once, biting back any complaint she might have about pain or otherwise.]
Sure... I can make that.
[No smiles... Ezra was one of the few that smiled a lot with her, but then she wasn't smiling either.
She could make that... right?]
Commentlog // Boooooo.
He starts their journey to the safety of the Keep, pulling Liz along as fast as he figures he can without hurting her. His head is snapping around at every little sound; his tension would almost be humourous if it weren't for the situation.]
Commentlog // NEVER!!
